Weirdness w/ sot update.sh:

Reported by: jacob Owned by: jacob
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: DP:SDAC Version: 1.4
Severity: normal Keywords:

I noticed a few strange things having to do with the sot update script:

1: An sql script (/tmp/sot/update/sot_load.sql)is called which deletes records from hinode.sot where the date_obs = a few dates from early 2018. These dates are hard coded. I suspect that the origin of this data wrote some files with these date specifications by mistake and Joe wrote this short .sql script to erase them when they pop up.

2: When run manually, the update script prints a couple of lines that Joe usually wrote to head a list of records, however no records are listed beneath them.

At the moment, the script runs without error so I've added it to the datasets supported by the scripts in /usr/local/scripts/sys_test. If they fall to 90 days out of date I'll take a harder look at what may or may not be happening here.

SOT updates normally, data comes back in queries. The database is monitored by my scripts if a problem does arise in the future.
