NetDRMS
The NetDRMS system was developed at Stanford. It is a system for managing data. While data can be stored either on tape or disk, in practice outside of Stanford disk storage is generally used. The system has two parts, the DRMS database that holds information about metadata, and the SUMS database that holds information about the actual files that are on disk.
- Managing disk use with the sum_rm program
- Handy debugging checks for the DRMS and SUMS databases
- Checking triggers that may fetch data in DRMS/SUMS
